The bird in the second shot is not photoshopped; it’s a seagull with a good sense of composition. 
A lot of places in Newfoundland really do give the feeling of standing on the edge of the earth — maybe that’s why we thought it was flat for so long?
One day a print of that second shot will hang on the wall of my home. I’m in awe of you, little brother, and so very, very proud.
