The Red Cliff Radar Base

The Radar Base at Red Cliff near Lower Cove was used during World War II. After the war, it was dismantled by the army and has been rotting away slowly ever since. An odd, eerie place to visit on even the sunniest of days with plenty of odd debris and leftovers left in the buildings and strewn about the surrounding forest.

  1. Very nice series. I’m always up for some great urban decay shots. You have done an excellent job with this radar site.

I had to laugh though, in one of the photos “Karl Wells” grafitied on the wall. I wonder if he wrote a review after dining at the run down radar site šŸ™‚
